So I, like most of the community loved my elemental primaries in year one. Like most of the community I have year one materials that I can no longer use. So here's my idea: Xur will sell elemental infusion cores for primary weapons at the cost of (2) etheric light, (15) strange coins, and some number of legendary marks. This would eliminate the raid weapons or ToO weapons being the only acceptable primaries (the year one problem referenced by Bungie). If you like your Hung Jury with firefly, add some void...you like that Imago Loop but really miss the Fatebringer, add arc. You could still use a wide variety of guns, but with the added perk of elements. This, in my opinion, would not shrink the primary sandbox and have no impact on PvP.
