You're still thinking of fore runners. The precursers didn't make halo rings. They still exist. They didn't destroy life. You obviously don't know the difference between fore runners and precursers. Fore runners are just link humans except they have been around longer. Precursers are the gods. The flood don't matter to them they are simply another life form in there eyes.
