10 myths of game development debunked
Goes a long way to explaining why so many AAA titles are so flawed these days, especially at launch. It sounds like a bloody rough industry, even if I'd still love to be a part of it in an ideal world.

6 RisposteThis is why I hate it when people are so dismissive of game devs and talk shit about them. This industry is among the worst to work for, and it is exceedingly rare that a game is bad due to negligence on the part of developers. Gamers really, really need to understand this about developers.
