Always tough for us to understand because we live so much longer than dogs. But 12 years for a Shepherd is a long and fulfilling life. At the end of the day all a dog really wants is love and attention and it seems like she got a ton of that over the past decade. Just remember the good times - they're the only times a dog remembers!
