My condolences. My family and I had to put down our dog, Pebbles, who was -16- years old. A Labrador Retriever. She was just old, but she hadn't really been all that happy since her buddy, my other dog, Teddy, died a few years before. He was a Chow, and he had the same problems Gali had--both because of age, and I think he did just start getting sick, too. I'm not sure what to tell you. It's hard to lose an animal. Such a good friend, a longtime friend, a loyal friend, gone. But certainly not forgotten. Our new dog, Nala, is a German Shepherd, and she's got the spirit of Pebbles and the floofiness of Teddy. Seeing your post, and having her sitting next to me chewing on a water bottle, I leaned over and rested my head on her floof.
