Sorry man. This shit always sucks. I've constantly had pets since I was about 8, and my dog lucky, is about to have to be put down after being with us for almost 10 years. But atleast he/she was with the ones she loved when she passed. That's the most you could have given him/her. I wish you and your family the best! Eyes up guardian!
