You only get marks if you haven't done the weekly heroic and it counts as one of your three

Actually I believe you're wrong. I have done one weekly strike, and the nightfall. I got legendary marks for the nightfall, and for the weekly. According to my orbit screen, I am still able to get rewards for two more strikes. Thanks though, but the nightfall doesn't count as one of your weeklies

I'll have to test it then. I did the nightfalls last, last week and I don't remember earning any marks
