The worst part is that players who pick up the game today will not technically be time-gated when it comes to Sleeper Simulant. They will collect the Dvalin pieces and progress almost normally. That's why this is annoying. It's not a quest step. It's Bungie being too lazy to create new content that isn't directly influenced by things we already did. The OP isn't crying.
