I think it's you that doesn't get it.
You have the potential to get 10 nightfall quality rewards from ultra kills, so basically your one nightfall turned into 10.
You can buy 3 of coins but you can also buy exotics. You have 10 chances at getting a 310 exotic.

Well funny that because my last 17 exotic engrams were 290, oh they were also duplicates. That includes two from today and yes, I am 300+ light. So bye 10 of coins, thanks for giving me the chance to grind for some exotic shards. Oh, but I am grateful that the nightfall gave me an item I can use to grind more, it saves me spending my abundant coins on a vendor. Because I love doing the same exact thing over and over again, can't wait to get a couple more moldering shards from the raid. It's nice a game is perfect.
