For some of us (such as myself) we have hundreds of these things and nothing else to use them for, so we might as well blow them on 3 of coins. The faction rep and EXP boost is gone. The nightfall used to be good regardless of your rewards because of the buff it granted. Without it, 99% of the time it isn't worth your time, which is why I don't complete it anymore.

So what if it is equal to 14 strange coins? The same can be said that you have tons of strange coins for the weapon/armor xur is going to sell. You aren't getting 1 or 3 three of coins, you are getting 10.

Are you saying that if I have a lot of strange coins I can afford anything he is selling? Because that isn't my point. I am merely putting the reward into currency. 10 3 of coins is 14 strange coins. I probably get about 20 of these a week by just playing the game and have well over 400. I can buy 3 of coins every week without even putting a dent into my strange coin wallet. Without the faction rep and EXP boost, night falls become irrelevant very quickly for established players. If that is they way they wanted it, fine, but I doubt that was there intent as the only challenge more difficult currently is kings fall.

Then use your strange coins to level up your faction rep. 33 coins = 99 heavy synthesis + 1 more heavy synthesis = one level of faction reputation. Get them all to 25 so you can get your exotic class armor. Stop hording coins.

The nightfall has become irrelevant to me, and many other established players without the faction rep and exp boost, that is my point. Edit: Looking at your characters and gear I would assume you are in the same predicament, unless you spent all your coins leveling up your faction.

Got 290 truth that's it...not 310 for everyone bud. So therefore it's not worth it still.

Once you hit 300 your exotics will start decrypting into 310 weps/armor.
