Hey dipshit, ask yourself this question: how did we find out about the ghosts in the first place? Because someone found them! How did we find out the code for the SS fusion core? Because someone figured it out! Don't you get it? We DID figure out these missions. Those people didnt "waste" their time. If it wasn't for them, you never would have found those ghosts, and never would have received your NTTE and Sleeper (assuming you have them). You say that those people wasted their time? They're the reason that so many of us were so prepared for these timegated missions! If nobody had ever bothered to do all of that exploring, none of us would even know that NTTE existed, yet.
