ok, you need to understand 2 things a.) bungie is out of "new" content.... if you read the kotau article, you know that pretty much everything was there from day 1 and was released time after time, now they are out of content and need time to create new one.. b.) every single week counts , so if you can get player "to play another week" its good for bungie, since their player figures are declining (well thats not real news, since ALL FPS MP do that .. (see battlefield 3 numbers) c.) its the same thing you have in those "first free to play but later can become really expensive" browser games.. even warframe does this..
