If everything that dropped was a 310 exotic then nightfalls would get boring af and the excitement of seeing what you get after beating it would be ruined

I'm not asking for 310 exotics. I'm asking for a consumable that requires further grinding not to be a reward for a weekly event. Especially when that weekly event doesn't even give a rep bonus or marks anymore. It makes it worse than a heroic strike and it's supposed to yield "superior" rewards. Instead it just gives me something I can just as easily buy from a vendor.
