Or I could have just bought the same, with 14 strange coins. Except had I just gotten 14 strange coins, it could have gone towards an exotic engram from Xur.

So what incentive is there to do a nightfall? There's no xp buff and the drops are shit. The whole point of the patch was to make it more appealing, except it hasn't. So you're ok with that? A significant part of the weekly events is still a waste of time, but that's how it should be because you support that. Is that right?

Yes you could do that, it doesn't negate the statement though. You didn't even make a counterpoint or argument. No one has ever complained about strange coins as h drop. I'd prefer the ToC considering everything that isn't a year 2 engram from xur rolls at 280.
