I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

1 RispondiWe're you around when getting rewards like 5 ascendant shards or energy for the nightfall was a common occurrence? 10 ToC isn't so bad when you look back, at least out of those 10 ToC you will get at least one exotic engram, probably 2 and if your character is above 300 light they will probably decrypt to 310, everybody looks at it differently, over most of the rewards I have had from nightfalls 10 ToC isn't a bad reward at all

21 strange coins, which I will use to buy 15 three of coins, which will result in at least one if not two exotics. Given my RNG, they will both be Hereafter. Is that the kind of reward they intended? I don't know, but I don't play any RNG game for the loot. I play for fun and the loot is a side benefit. Basing your enjoyment level on loot in an RNG system sounds like a recipe for frustration.

2 RisposteIts better then it was tho i was only dropped 1 ghost at 305. My other two drops were insignificant dismantles. My son on the other hand was dropped a 308 heavy and a 310 sniper so id say its way better now than previous.

2 RisposteI am suprised people are complaining about ghosts. A ghost over 300 is a good drop. Unless you have atleast a 310 ghost. I got an antiquated ruin 3 weeks in a row. Then I got a 310 Monte Carlo. RNG is pretty close to random.

I got 11 three of coins and two ghost shell that were exactly identical in stats from the skill tree to the light level and intellect strength stats lol

I mean you didn't expect to be guaranteed a good drop the first week the patch is live did you? I got a 300 ghost and 310 dont touch me's so far. Still one to go.

1 RispondiI got a ghost shell on all three characters. The best parts about it were-- I had the highest light level (306-308). I had the most kills/assists/etc. I only got a shell, no other loot. All of my shells were 290-294. 5 of 6 teammates' shells were 305-307. What the heck is going on here, damnit!? I'd rather have a near-useless antiquated rune because the court has better RNG.

Bungie fixed nothing. Strange coins are already part of the reward table. Having three of coins there is just redundunt.

Nightfall provides your best chance at an Exotic reward...it has never guaranteed it. Three of coins does not guarantee you an Exotic, it just improves your odds . They dumbed down the way you acquire Exotics by adding them to Quests, thus guaranteeing your precious prize. If you want an Exotic , do the Quests that reward them, if you want a chance at one by running the hardest content outside of a raid, then play Nightfall strikes....Just don't get butthurt or jelly of ur mates when they get one and you don't...It's RNG, it's dumb luck really, you didn't earn anything, you just took a gamble and hope it paid off. Remember....there is always next time!

Ever since Taken King, these Nightfalls have been so not worth it. I heard they were going to fix the loot table and was so relieved. Till i read the patch notes... Increase of legendary drops?! Who the -blam!- cares about legendary drops? Who does Nightfalls for Legendary drops? Unless you're doing Nightfalls to catch up to Raid tiers...it's not worth it. Even then it's still not. Because they increased the drop rate for legendaries, AND added ghost shells (Seriously? Ghost shells? Were people itching to get crappy shells from Nightfalls? I GOT 2 BACK TO BACK.) this DECREASED the chance for an exotic. So...why bother? I'm waiting for the update that makes Nightfalls "Feel like an accomplishment". You know...part of the reason they removed the buff? Where is that update? Till then...won't waste my time on crap RNG.
