We use snipers because we don't want to be cheap learning the way of a flawless sniper is a skill most won't invest time into. Aim assist is fine I use efrideets spear with no aim assist and my sniper kills are a lot of the time drag snipes. In my opinion snapshot and short gaze is all I need on a sniper then for perks anything to get me more ammo so I know I've usually always got some. I'm yet to try a high impact low rate of fire very high stability sniper rifle.
