Bungie did what they did for a reason. As much as I do miss some of the old weapons, it's more the memories I miss, not being able to use the gun. The reason Bungie seems to be almost starting over with weapons and armor is that, well, they really are starting over. The new gameplay style they have implemented caters to the newer gear. In time, new versions of are prwvious exotics will be implemented. Hell, we already have many new versions of legendaries and exotics. They want to completely change the game, and the sooner you accept the change, the sooner you can truly enjoy Year 2. Trust me, this is true.
