Pretty ambitious game, you think it'll succeed?

No. Too ambitious for an initial release. They need to give the backers something so they don't get pissed and withdraw. This is a game that they want so big, they have to push it out in segments. Otherwise it's a five-six year development cycle and that's difficult to maintain without having a massive following or capital base, like Bethesda or Rockstar.

2 RisposteThey have a lot of money and an extremely dedicated leader in Chris Roberts who's been planning this game for decades. There have been some delays recently but I couldn't care less about them. It's only three years into development, but because they are more open with the development process it upsets people more it seems. I recently got a nice warthog HOTAS setup and I'll have an oculus rift when they finally release. Can't wait!!!!

More than likely it will. The level of detail even in the alpha is amazing.
