It became abundantly clear to me that the new content would have little to no challenge with old weapons very quickly. I ran the entire story campaign the first time using all the new weapons at the higher attack values and got my ass handed to me at every turn. Second playthrough I used fate bringer black hammer and gjallarhorn for as long as possible before they just took too long to kill anything compared to the higher attack valued weapons. The only weapons i truly care for in year 2 thus far are the Zhalo Supercell and the hung jury. And most of the armor is ugly.
