WHICH APPLE IS TASTIER?
My Hunter's picked up 2 Apples of Discord (Hail Eris!) from RNG, and although I'm not really a pulse rifle fan, pulse rifles are among the higher-end weapons. But I'm trying to decide if either one has better perks than the other, if it ever comes down to choosing between them.
They really seem like they have different purposes the way their perks are set up. Crowd Control seems to be PvE oriented, with Hand Loaded combined with Rangefinder to give it maximum range potential. On the other hand, Headseeker definitely seems designed for the Crucible. Feeding Frenzy is a good backup perk for this, and this one also has Fitted Stock on the last tree, giving it 100% stability. Seems like a wicked PvP tool.
Is there a rational choice between these guns? I'm looking for opinions from people with more pulse rifle experience than I have.

Headseeker can be good if you can utilize the guns recoil but that takes practice. Feeding Frenzy is kind of wasted since Apple of Discord has a large magazine. Crowd Control is perfect for pve, and situational in pvp, but is a helpful damage boost.
