Flayer Mantle...has anyone received it from the lvl 20 strike?
Soo I've been doing a mix of heroic and lvl 36 strikes from the playlist for almost a month now and haven't gotten even one of the flayer mantle cloaks :( :( I'm starting to lose hope!!! So I'm wondering if it's been confirmed that it can drop from the lvl 20 strike that you select from Mars, cause that would save me a lot of time...
And does anyone know if having a lower light lvl might increase the chance of it dropping?

7 RisposteAll of the rewards I've gotten from strikes have been from the low level versions loaded right from the map, Cloak of Taniks, Devouring Maw, Omnigul bond, Treads upon stars, Baron's ambition and Grasp of Malok.

I know people have been getting the other class items from the director strikes buuut I haven't seen anyone say they got the flayer mantle that way, so I was hoping someone could confirm. Until then it looks like I'm gonna hope for the best in the playlists cause I don't want to risk wasting more time on the lvl 20... D: Another thing, is the legendary drop rate really better in heroics after you do the weekly strikes with guaranteed legendary drop? I kinda figured once you got the streak buff going it would be about the same.. :P

I grinded the the shadow thief for cloak of taniks. Made a mix of heroic and lvl 20. After 31 strikes i can say u, u waste ur time with lvl 20 strikes. Finally i get it from a heroic strike. No i didnt leave a lot to get shadow thief!? How can u think that :O

The cloaks are legendary right? I would think the heroic level 41 strike playlist would have a better chance at dropping it because the chance of legendary drops are increased there, although I have played the dust palace a few times on heroic and haven't gotten many drops from the flayers themselves.

I think that it can. Since you can get a bond from Omnigul and that strike isn't in the playlist
