Time spent playing the game included the time you had to wait for "that" guy to run to the tower and grab ammo synth or a weapon for the next activity. Time spent laughing with friends in the party about how he is always "that guy" and then realizing you need to go to because "fatebringer" was on my other characters, those hours in my 2400 hrs stated are included as part of my destiny experience. Hours spent in the reef, or tower to do the vault shuffle with one empty slot and three full characters, also counted as part of my Destiny year one experience. Long before App transfers improved the player experience.
