But this innovation would make it so there is a lack of progress thus making people complain and leave the game, thus less money for the devs. Destiny is designed to be a grind, a fun one at that, which keeps longevity in the game. Otherwise if you just , for example, just use all of your old gear from the start, negating any of the new gear, you would get at the end game and get bored very quickly. Although i do not really agree with bungies methods, they have somewhat of a point for them

You would grind to get higher leveled gear for infusion.

Said Innovations I proposed do nothing to impact the grind, just make it more worthwhile for "everyone" while at the same time offering up more for people to do. There is no reason for you not to agree to any of this.

His argument is invalid. The grind to level up a 170 fatebringer would be real. He obviously doesn't get how infusion works.
