Three of Coins
I know that the Three of coins just got recently patched but to be honesty it got nerfed to bad. i use them and almost never get an exotic now, i probably have a better chance of getting an exotic weapon i want from crucible than from the three of coins. i understand why the nerf was put into play but they took it a bit too far. please adjust this and make exotic engrams drop a little more because ive used about 20 three of coins scince the patch and have only gotten a chest peice engram for the titan which already dropped for me 5 other times before the patch.

Yes it's bs all I get is hand cannons, 17 to be exact last words and 10 hawkmoons it's like no other gun exists as a primary. Its a joke feel like dismantling engrams as I get them.

4 RisposteAre you farming draksis with them on the scourge of winter mission? Or are you running it with strikes? They only changed the drop rate on them if you pop them back to back repeatedly. But if you wait 5 minutes in between killing ultras then the drop rate is the same as they were before the patch. Hope this helps!

Using 3 of coins and getting 2 blue engrams?! You should at least get a legendary engram to drop. Otherwise what's the point of 3 coins! Blue engrams drop everywhere in the game. Bungie please fix this. Thank you.

7 RisposteThe drop rate is fine now. The problem is the Cryptarch keeps giving me the same item over and over. Think about year 1 exotic chances. Nightfall and Raid only unless you got extremely lucky. Now you have many chances every week off of any boss. Xur sells new items at 280 light. Engrams decrypt at 290. I think you're better off rolling the dice with Three of Coins

3 RisposteI used 25 ....1 at a time doing strikes this week only got 2 exotics...which ended up being the same damn light beyond nemesis I already had 2 of last week..tbh in my oppinion it's alot of time spent for f-all really I'd just play the raid imo

Yes there was an exploit but the problem is this: Bungie has countless time taken the easy route rather than thinking their answer through and saying is this best long term. Hot fix even describes band aid mentality. For example yr1 stuff...was leaving it behind the creative 10yr Answer or the hot fix get it off my desk answer. Patch after patch breaks things worse than before. The three of coin could have been creatively changed to Lvl 41 raid or nightfalls (since nightfall is broken now) But they need an answer not a band aid I get and respect that they have a lot more going on, it's their job, and probably stressful and demanding...so trying to keep it in balance is just like my job. For me, the changes feel like a task list not an act of engagement with emotional connection to how it impacts the actual player...not saying they don't love Destiny but rather it doesn't feel like they love it as a player first and as a job second.

I get one in 5 on average I have gotten so many exotics and I b just run strikes or pop onr before a ultra.

I got 2 exotics in one drop from these. And I usually use 5-6 until I get an exotic. However, I've gotten 2 last words and 2 fourth horsemen in a row out of them so he drop rate might be better but my rewards are not too great.

They're not meant to be common drops. They were giving out exotics like candy before. That's like giving out rations of five-star steak dinners with every box of government cheese. Not exactly the intended result. Just stop trying to exploit the game.

3 RisposteKilled some time today by running level 36 Vanguard strikes. 5 strikes, used 5 coins, got 3 exotic engrams. Dark blade dude pooped out 2 at once even. Didn't know that was possible...

Problem is I keep getting the same exotic items I already received a hundred times last year in year 1. So annoying and I'm beginning to care less about finding the new exotics l.

I used 20 before nerf, got two drops. I've used 5 after the nerf and got one. So I don't really see a difference.

2 RisposteAgreed. It now costs more to buy enough Three of Coins to actually get an exotic than it does for an exotic. I also understand that it was too high before, but could we find a middle ground somewhere?

1 RispondiJust spread them out and don't take more than one at a time. Don't go at it looking for a particular drop. Just occasionally pop and play as normal. Gotten a Few decent drops. All in all tends to balance out to about the same price as buying an armor piece. Except you can get more than one particular item and longer than a weekend. I like them. A nice way to make the same ole grind feel interesting. Strikes became more fun for sure!

Yep I've noticed a huge drop. Have two left and if they don't work think I will just stop buying them until they are adjusted (if ever).
