You say that like Titans are the only ones with low recovery. Hunters have low recovery AND won't survive a rocket. Warlocks, while being the recovery class, can only survive a rocket while in the nova bomb animation or if using that damage reduction perk for their super. I've switched to Titan for crucible since Sunbreaker came out, so I'm definitely taking advantage. That said, they just have no weakness ever. I've never been killed in my super yet, any only gotten less than 3 kills maybe like 3-4 times.
