It curves like a tracking grenade. It doesn't track like a rocket.
It has an arc, it doesn't fly straight. It's as difficult to judge a long throw with the hammer as it is with a grenade. Total "hail mary" nonsense.
You can get lucky throwing a tripmine grenade cross map too. Saw a video where a guy got the "first blood" medal about 2 seconds into the match that way.
