Keep in mind that the battle of the twilight gap was fought against the fallen. There may be a connection between the race designation of some bosses and obtaining certain exotics. I don't necessarily buy into that, but I think we are far from ruling that theory out just yet. Especially with the resemblance of the shoulders that OP pointed out. Maybe Valus or Shield Brothers would drop those shoulders as well as the other Cabal major?
