LFG Raid posts have reached a new LOW
So as a person new to the raid ive been looking to find a raid group and I came across a disturbing trend. People with no experience are DEMANDING only to raid with groups that have experience. it goes a little something like this

Seriously? so now people without experience are demanding experienced raiders? no wonder no one will take new people in. if you don't have experience you shouldn't demand that you have a group that has beaten oryx. you are at the bottom of the barrel. take what you can get.

I can understand wanting one person with experience cause they'll know what to do...but an entire team with you being clueless? Fk that bs.

Run the raid with friends or join a clan. Go in and spend some time learning the mechanics. Develop strategies that best fit your team. You shouldn't expect a group that has done this already to teach you when you can form your own team and learn together.

I think it's wrong to ask for Oryx killers when your new but at the same time, they need someone that really knows what they are doing to walk them through it. I've seen worse requests

for me its commitment - hate starting with 6 and then having to always look for more!! Slows it down so much! So don't join and be on a 1 or 2 hour time limit! Have the time so can enjoy it!

I'd never demand that people have completed it at all. That's silly. Been with some terrible groups though... People being impatient or just assholes to anyone who isn't their own buddy. It's always everyone else's fault... And they won't listen to anyone. One guy had never attempted Oryx before and, rather than allow me to explain as the group had asked, just talked over me spouting nonsense... Needless to say I wasn't the only one who left...

Agreed people who have no experience should deal with what ever they can get and not be so demanding they have no idea how annoying it is to teach a noob who doesn't listen now I'm not saying that to all inexperienced players cause I've personally helped quiet a few it's just the ones that don't listen

I keep high requirements and only ask to join for high requirement posts. A quick layout of my kings fall raiding experience Playing with no experienced people: 2 1/2 hours oryx, 4 hours rest of raid. IF they even complete it. Playing with experienced: Under an hour entire raid. I have a job, fiance and friends I want to see. I don't have time to carry scrubs.

3 RisposteI seen posts where people where asking for money to be taken in. Lfg sucks.. But the best perk about it is getting stuff done when you want to get it done and bailing out when you feel like it and starting back up from where you left off. I have "clan" guys I play with.. But it usually becomes a bigger annoyance then what it should be.. I spend more time sitting in space waiting to get the f'n thing started then actually playing. Also most of them have annoying kids in the background. lfg players seem more like no lifes, single or teenagers. I thought annoying voices where bad.. but children in the background are by far the worst.

Took in a couple newbies with my group last night, we've done it once and I feel like everyone can be taught. We had one guy that could not be taught, he didn't listen, but we were able to push through half of golgoroth before he raged. 10/10, would recommend. Much skill.

We are having SUCH a hard time with this, kind of from the other angle. We are new and haven't completed it yet (stuck on Oryx) but I can't invite anyone to my fire team because their original lfg post is so elitist!! If you sound like a jerk that's unwilling to wipe even once then I won't invite you. Being screamed at doesn't help anyone, so I'm willing to try and fight through with other newbies so that we at least won't get frustrated with each other.

That's pretty bad. Our first time through, we were sure to specify that it was our first time and that it might take a little longer. Had some experienced guys join to help us out, which we were grateful for, but requiring that? Madness

I mean I found a group through recruitment boars last night and it took us like 3 hours ti beat glyphs and war priest. but couldn't get our shit together for the next bit. I understand why people want experience, not everyone has like 6 hours to spend on the raid teaching people.

Ive had to find people several times by using lfg and forums However most of my requests are just for "people with a brain" No one needs "experience" they just simply need the ability to understand and learn

lfg has always been bad I joined a Crota raid group when it was relevant as the request asked for experienced players & I knew my way around the raid. The player making the request was the least experienced player in the Raid evidenced by the questions he was asking once we started. He got grumpy when some of the group needed to visit the Tower for ammo synths, insisting he didn,t need it , only to be the one squealing he had run out of ammo when we finally had Crota nearly down. HOW dropped & instantly players were demanding level 34's with maxed Gally for Nightfall. TOO brought them out with must have gone Flawless etc, when a look at their stats suggested they hadn't managed it themselves.

Yeah this reminded me of last week when we were searching LFG. We were laughing how ridiculous it's gotten.
