Weapons of Light is horrid for Oryx. That bubble gets in the way or detracts from your time no matter where it's placed. The best way to stagger Oryx is to have high impact snipers and at least one Nighthawk Golden Gun at 290+ Light. Once the bomb phase comes up, the two remaining players in the aura are to keep shooting Oryx and wait for the bombs to be detonated. Once detonated, everyone returns to the aura and continues to shoot Oryx. If done correctly, your team would have dropped Oryx's health down by 30% at the most.
