The way maos are designed, I don't think its even possible doe snipers to be OP in destiny. That being said, the size of the precision hit box is massive, and the target aquisition is crazy. But still kinda irrelevant because all the maps are close quarters.

There are many choke points and open rooms in "close" quarters maps. Sniping on them is definitely not irrelevant.

I didn't say sniping was irrelevant, i said that the things that make them "OP" are irrelevant. Because sniping in this game isn't very relevant. Because shotguns.
