Also, I work in the gaming industry, so probably understand more than most people both sides of the argument, something you clearly fail to see.

Yeah and about that little remark... Who do you work for? How big is the company? Have they had ANY successful publishes? I would tread carefully when you make remarks like that. I'm an engineer, but that doesn't give me a free pass to jump on a forum how other engineers wire a room or program components.

It's the execs that don't give a crap, and make these lousy decisions that ultimately hurt the gaming community as a whole. Argue how you will, but it is a fact that greed is killing the culture. While I no longer work at EA, I most certainly am not lying. I was on both the FIFA 10, and FIFA 11 dev teams.

I'm no kid at all. In fact, I am most likely older than you. I remember a time when expansions added more to a game. I remember a time when you purchased a game, and it was complete and nearly bug free. I remember a time when an expansion never locked away features that were previously accessible to those that bought the product. Those days seem to have gone due to greed. The industry is run by people who don't care, or even know anything about the games. You can't even argue that this is bad for the gaming community.
