The OP is trying to say that what happened didn't happen. Its clear what Bungie did here. If you're enjoying the game then its not a a big deal for you. It could be for others. Its really a matter of opinion. I'm looking at this as Destiny 2 and the starting over we all had to do is just part of that. And if you're one of those that did not buy TTK your time in Destiny is most likely over. I know it would be for me.

It's not the same though. They raised the level cap, which means they need to raise the levels of the end game content. If you don't buy the latest and greatest you can't get to the new level cap, which means you can't play the end game stuff anymore. It is what has to happen for the game to continue to progress forward.
