I'm sorry you can't play the new crucible maps that came out year two. or the new strikes. but you had a chance to pay for more and didn't. there are playlists for year one crucible and strikes. you didn't lose anything

The last two dlc didn't lock you out of rumble etc or even the weeklies or nightfall [i]unless[/i] it was as the new strikes. This one does, so content has been lost. That's an immutable fact. So the book analogy is still bad.
