So the Taken King DLC has recently been released with overwhelming negative feedback. Not so much because of the content, but because of Bungie's marketing tactics. Now had they wanted to avoid this chaos, here are somethings from hindsight: *Give everybody the new level 40 cap. For free. *Allow access to legendary marks and revamped year one exotics. Make new TTK items DLC exclusive. *Offer a discount to people who bought prior DLCs. I recommend $5 to $10 per DLC. Fan loyalty is the key to success. * Give them their VIP rewards. Strong-arming is NEVER a good business tactic, especially when its such a high-profile company.
