Reduced government has always correlated to more discrimination. Even since early America, whenever federalists didn't have power that's when rights went away from minirities. Some ppl think gov is dumb and should stay out of things, but I'd rather trust gov than uneducated fools. Btw, America has one of the lowest taxes yet they still complain about it (since before the birth of America they did) Good gov funding means better infrastructure and better education. When gov has no money America turns into what it is now Oh and the assistance plans are to help cusion the falls that are inevitable with expansion and compression of economics, preventing depressions.
