Crucible/vanguard commendations
Is there any point to crucible or vanguard commendations? I just did a long quest where I had to win 2 of each game type in the crucible and only got a crucible commendation. I love crucible so it wasn't too much of a chore. But I thought they did away with commendations?? Is there any point to them?

When you use them they rank up your crucible / vanguard reputation. Warning: I found a bug where if you rank up more than one level at a time in one sitting - You will only get one vanguard reward package... Basically you need to claim the reward package before moving on to the next rank. I learned this the hard way.
