Back in the saddle quest
So what does this questline from Banshee give you? It seems to orient around fusion rifles a lot.
Does it give an exotic?

EverStrike is correct. I got the Susanoo fusion. It is on my warlock if you want to see. I had to dismantle 10 fusion and got a fusion. My buddy has to dismantle 10 shotguns, so maybe he will get a Shotty??

It gives you a legendary fusion rifle with a unique perk when fully upgraded; it transfuses the element of an ability you use for a short period. e.g. It does solar damage, use a void ability and it temporarily becomes a void damage fusion rifle. Happy conflagrations.
