Content was absolutely taken away since you cannot do any campaign levels w/ the heroic modifier enabled. My son enjoys replaying the campaign and challenging himself w/ the harder levels or to test different armor and weapons. He's probably played thru the story 2 or 3 times in the last two months, he does this w/ all his older/outdated games. But now, he can no longer play Destiny and experience it as he did the first time he played since it's been dumbed down and locked behind a paywall. He feels completely tossed aside and is looking forward to other games now instead of continuing on w/ Destiny. Funny, cuz first thing he did when he realized Destiny changed Year 1 accessibility was go and play Halo 3, right on cue, no shit :)
