Destiny's first live stream exploring the tower said that guardians would now (post TTK) be guaranteed a legendary item or engram from going up a level in any faction, the vanguard, the crucible, the quartermaster, or the cryptarch. Since TTK has gone live, I have gone up two levels for the Future War Cult, one for the quartermaster, one for the vanguard, and one for the Cryptarch. From these, I have only received a legendary item from leveling the vanguard and from one of my Future War Cult levels. Leveling up the other 3 only gave me 5 motes of light and 5 strange coins for each. I thought this was guaranteed now so, Destiny, what happened?!
