I have three characters, and I'm a real hunter. More than you probably are. If you were half the Hunter you say you are, you'd know that despite the little friendship bracelets the Warlocks go running around with, and despite their constant presence that annoys the living crap out of me, a true hunter never dismisses what is undeniable... At least not entirely. Don't get me wrong, I hate them. They might be assholes, and jerks, and bickering-whiners, but they're guardians too. They can help. And any Hunter who's willing to give up a tactical advantage because of a grudge is no hunter at all...
