After reading the patch notes, I have come to realize the shotgun range nerf was never implemented it seems. Every map. Every game mode. THE MAJORITY of players, whether on my team or opposing, the main weapons used are STILL SHOTGUNS. I look at the Chaperone shotgun coming in TTK, it takes 2 shots or so to kill a guy from a distance, AND IT'S A SLUG ROUND! But pellets from the current shotguns can kill in one shot from a distance STILL!? How are we supposed to get hyped for the new exotic shotgun when it's still going to be worse than all the other current shotguns!? Shotguns shouldn't have shot package. End of story. What logic is there when ADS increases the range of a shotgun? IT SHOULDN'T! You might as well make shotguns PRIMARY if they have that in their roll. OR MAKE ALL SHOTGUNS PRIMARY! The people from Call of Duty have already figured it out. Back in MW2 days where shotguns were a secondary, it became a HUGE problem at the time. So they improvised by making them a PRIMARY weapon. Not as many people use shotguns anymore because they were placed in the primary slot. So why not make all the shotguns primary? It'll be much more difficult to get the players to choose between a shotgun or Red Death (or whatever weapon they love as a primary). It would seriously change up the game. I can't go into a match without being gunned down from 10 feet away by a shotgun with a single shot. (And don't give me the bulls hit excuse why shotguns are good for that. If you shoot ANYONE from that distance, you should take minor damage, not an INSTANT KILL.) Many others agree the shotgun needs shot package removed entirely as well as dropping range to at least a 5. Otherwise, make it a primary. If you're able to kill a guy from a distance like you can with any other primary weapon, it should fit perfectly with the primary weapons. Just look at Universal Remote. Back when it was the only weapon that could kill a guy from 20 feet away, it's a primary. FIX THIS!
