Don't Worry Guys Your Weapons Suck Now - We FIXED Them. =)
I am really baffled by this Bungie.
We know why Thorn was nerfed. I know why TLW Was Nerfed. We know why Gjally was nerfed, even though this did hurt our Gjallarhorn pride. :( But we accepted it.
Why on God's earth did you nerf Shotguns for PVE? Why did you nerf Field Scout? Perfect Balance?
Why did you nerf Shotgun range. The range of Shotguns for PVP was already very low and it created weird moment in PVP where you are not quite close enough to kill them with a shotgun, but too close for a primary.
[spoiler]I love watching a friend of mine who plays Halo, that never played Destiny to use the shotgun in this game. He thinks he can snipe right across the room with it. Its funny to watch but this is off topic.[/spoiler]
Why did you nerf Fusion rifles? They were already really bad and nobody was using them in the Crucible except for a few stubborn players.
Why did you nerf Pulse rifles and makes them harder to use at longer ranges? Do you like for us to shoot enemies so they can run away from encounters? Its not fun to have people go back to full health and kill you. Hopscotch Pilgrim? Icebreaker?

2 RisposteI don't have a problem with making the weapons more balanced, but now it feels like [i]everything[/i] sucks, but they just all suck equally. The game just feels generally harder, and not in a good way, but more of a "everything just got a whole lot more bullet-spongey" way. Of course that makes this a great week to make everybody do qodron, when nobody has their $&@% together for PvE and nothing works well.

I know lw and thorn needed to get nerfed but did u have to nerf the range and accuracy of HC's in general? I finally got hawkmoon today but the accuracy and range nerf is too much. Dont get me wrong it still kicksass but the added range and accuracy nerf to all HCs was uncalled for.

7 RisposteHOW TO fix your "awkward range" problem Shotguns should have a range BUFF. But there's a catch... (Lowering Impact) Bungie has got it all wrong in their methods of nerfing shotguns. They just keep reducing the range to shit but the range isn't why people hate shotguns. The REAL reason people hate shotguns is that it can kill you instantly, with one mindless pull of the trigger. They can reduce the range down to 1ft but people will still complain about it killing in one hit. The solution: make shotguns kill in TWO shots but increase the range If a sniper rifle can't 1 shot you in the body then a shotgun shouldn't either. Increasing the range makes sense because a real shotgun shot doesn't just stop after 10ft. The slow fire rate of shotguns would balance the higher range stat if they were two hit kills. The spread of the pellets at further distances would even make shotguns a 3 shot. This would also make players weigh their options more in choosing perks. Do you want shot package? (To reduce spread and ensure a consistent 2 shot) Do you want range finder? (To get kills at longer distances but you would have to hit them 3 times) Do you want full auto? (To increase fire rate and get the two hit kill off quicker) I believe this is the way to fix shotguns. No one complains about the Lord Of Wolves because it is a two shot with longer range. And you can get a ton of kills with it really easily but still no one complains because it's not an instant kill.

7 RispostePulse rifles still do their part. It's the alternative to auto rifles if you don't prefer auto rifles, and they have a slight edge on range and stability. The messenger still does work in the crucible. I agree on fusion rifles though, they are god awful unless you are a fusion expert. It's like trying to be good with no land beyond. Other than that, the weapons feel very balanced. Even the hand cannons still do their part. This is the most balanced the weapons have been and I'm honestly happy with it right now. I'm not the best but I'm also not the worst. Now that it's balanced, I can find which weapon I am best at and become better with it

5 RisposteOk, I just attempted the weekly heroic with Found Verdict. I couldn't stand even five minutes. Wow. Shotguns are useless again. I unloaded an entire clip into a reaver captain, and he wouldn't even flinch, let alone die. I had 170 light, too. With all the majors in that strike, it became unbearable. Now we have nothing to counter high health enemies with. Shotguns were perfect before. High risk, high reward. Now, with nerfed range on top of the 45% damage cut, they are high risk, no reward. This needs to be addressed. We were promised a ten percent nerf, we got 45, basically undoing the much welcomed buff of 100% way back. We'll be stuck slowly whittling away major enemies with primaries.
