The word [i]Sport[/i] and [i]Game[/i] are [u]synonyms[/u] - that means they are basically different words for the same thing. Those who don't have good sportmanship while playing games, are poor sports.

But people play this competitively which essentially makes it a sport. "an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment" Sure, we aren't being completely physical, its more mental than anything but we are using our muscle memory and competing against other people for entertainment.
