Sure, that's cool. Me too. But 6-8 months down the road when you've played a bunch of the new weapons, and had fun, but then want to reach into the vault and pull out trusty old Fatebringer, or Vex Mythoclast... And try out some of the new raid with them in your hands.. You will be pissed they don't at least have to option to ascend.
