Will you still be able to get Marks from completing normal strikes and crucible after TTK launches? Currently you get Strange Coins for completing a heroic strike and Vanguard Marks from normal strikes. You also get Crucible Marks from competing in the crucible. As we now know, after launch of TTK, Vanguard and Crucible Marks will be replaced by Legendary Marks. In the 08/20/15 Update it states the following: [quote]How can I earn Legendary Marks? -By completing Daily Story Chapters, Weekly Heroic Strikes, and Daily PVP Activities -By dismantling Year Two Legendary items – assuming you don’t have the maximum value of 200 Legendary Marks associated with your player account[/quote] So this seems to say they can only be earned via the Daily Story Mission, The Daily Crucible Playlist and Three heroic strikes per week (Plus destroying Year Two Legendary Weapons and Armour). If you can only do three story missions a day, plus three strikes a week to earn them, we may struggle to get 200 marks a week unless the rewards are very high. Currently you get 5 for a daily story mission (105 a week if you have three characters). You don't currently, but let's assume they do the same for daily crucible, that would be 210 if you didn't miss a day with three characters. Weekly strikes currently give 9 Strange coins on hardest level, will marks be similar? For the same of simplicity I will assume 10. That being the case you could earn a maximum of 240 per week across three characters. They only way to get more would be dismantling year two Legendaries (which is not going to be likely for some time). So we know from the streams: - A Legendary Weapon is 150 Marks. - A Legendary Chest Piece is 200 Marks. - A Helmet is 200 Marks. If we can no longer earn Marks through normal strikes and crucible, we will basically be limited to buying one piece of armour or a weapon per ACCOUNT per week. Please clarify.
