No one is talking about Fatebringer being the best or even WANTING it to be "the best." Its the matter of pushing the point that your time and effort has been utterly disrespected and cast to the wayside for no other reason than sheer laziness on the part of the developer. Would it not be better, instead of grinding to get a "new version" of the EXACT SAME GUN, to just simply keep and ascend the Fatebringer while creating new weapons that have attributes or perks that we DON'T already see or have? This is more than just the Fatebringer we're talking about. Look at the gravity of the situation. ALL Year 1 is being more or less invalidated. Will you still feel that way once year 3 comes and the 1,000+ or whatever hours you've spent in Year 2 end up being tossed the same way? Its a mentality that needs to NOT be encouraged and we have to stop it sooner rather than later.
