Again, I'm not complaining about [i]BALANCING[/i]. I'll reiterate myself; I [i]like[/i] what the 2.0 patch will bring to the PvP meta.
But the PvE issues you bring up will [i]still[/i] be fixed in the new leveling system- COMPLETELY regardless of whether or not Bungie allows for Year 1 gear to be brought forward.

Year one gear would be as good if not worse than the starting gear for TTK. I prefer getting everyone to have fresh start (other than the year one exotics being brought forward of course)
