I had thought about that, VoG and CE will likely have the same gear in Y2, just with new perks and values.
It would be awesome if you could use the Y2 weapon to infuse the Y1 to full power. Or vice/versa to ensure that the time upgrading the Y1 version would carry over.
Imagine getting Fatebringer 2.0 and immediately unlock it's full potential because you upgraded the first one!
