Bungie is terrified of power creep, thats why they screwed up royally. They put all the best guns to players out almost right away, and not much has compared to them. They dont want to put guns better than the VoG ones out so they make crap ones, but we dont like those, so they give us the VoG ones back. Its a vicious cycle That could be easily solved by adding a new difficulty to VoG and adding those guns back for year 2. Having to re-earn them to either infuse our old ones, or relevel the new ones.
