Lol your just upset cause you use TLW/Thorn and shotties...

Thorn/TLW will still rock in PvP, man. But either way, you seem to forget that some of us are [i]PvE players[/i]. We're not upset by [i]balances[/i], because our guns will still do the same same damage [i]per bullet[/i] in PvP as they always have, so every gun is still a viable choice. In [i]PvE[/i], however, literally [i]every single piece of gear[/i] that we've collected since launch will no longer be a competitive option for PvE activities, not even our freaking [i]class items![/i] I spent 600hrs and $100+ acquiring all of my gear, and I damn well expected to continue using it competitively in ALL game modes. PvP-only players are the [i]only[/i] group who's unaffected by the lack of Ascension for Year 1 gear, despite the fact that the [i]overwhelming[/i] majority of this game's content in [i]PvE-based[/i].

ToO and IB will no longer be "oh I have a thorn so I'm just gonna shoot you some and hide while ya burn" or "imma snipe you with my rapid fire hand cannon that does 90 hp while ADS" All the thorn and tlw users are gonna be outclassed in pvp that actually matters. As for PvE - it's a fresh start. I'm sick and tired of having people kick my friends out of vog or crota due to them being under leveled. Now we all get to do away with the light levels and skill and dedication will actually mean something for everyone, not just people with 1500+ hours in the game.

Again, I'm not complaining about [i]BALANCING[/i]. I'll reiterate myself; I [i]like[/i] what the 2.0 patch will bring to the PvP meta. But the PvE issues you bring up will [i]still[/i] be fixed in the new leveling system- COMPLETELY regardless of whether or not Bungie allows for Year 1 gear to be brought forward.
